In April, Dotan Negrin started a journey to develop himself as a pianist. He left New York with his dog, Brando, his upright piano, and a plan to cross the country and perform in improbable public places along the way. Today, Dotan finds a deeper meaning in his experiences. “My mission is to inspire people to create unique projects like this, to pursue their passions. I believe anyone can do anything if they have enough passion,” he says.

November 6, 2007. I got on stage at the New York Tech Meetup to show off the newly redesigned Tumblr Dashboard, while Marco took photos from the front row. 

The NYTM has been a staple of this industry since its beginning in 2004. Through their monthly events, the NY Tech Meetup has given countless startups support from an incredibly welcoming and encouraging community.
